Good value
Free wifi which is appreciated.
Old school rooms with a hard key to use. There isn’t any aircon but that would be expected in this local style hotel.

Basic, reasonable hotel
The bad:
*You pay the whole sum at the beginning of the stay
*Card only, no cash
*The reception is not always open. Yes, they leave a phone number to call, but it is not very convenient, and not everybody has Austrian SIM card to make calls. This is very inconvenient
*No air conditioning in rooms. In summer it's a problem - you need to open the window, but it is a student town, it can get quite noisy.
The good:
*Great location
*When staff is there, they are very nice and try to be helpful.
*Good breakfast
*Good bed.

No Aircon!
Check in was quick and efficient and the the receptionist was very welcoming.
My 3rd floor room was very spacious and clean with ample storage space and a large desk. There was also a pleasant, but small, balcony looking out over the courtyard. The ensuite was clean with a powerful shower, but not enough towels provided although the receptionist didn't agree with me when I asked if I could have an extra one!
The bed was comfortable able, however the lack of Aircon in the room was a major drawback- it was a very hot day (34°) and stayed warm at night during a long thunder storm meaning either melt, or leave the window open and flood the room!
Breakfast was food- standard continental fayre with plenty of choice.
Overall a good basic hotel but the Aircon issue would certainly stop me from returning during the summer.

Good for the money
The room was clean and the bed, a little hard, but I like that.
Good breakfast, most things you could expect for the money. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I will be there again!
