Basic Hotel near city centre.

Looking for a room for 3 people (me, dad with his two sons) brought me to Het Rustpunt. Really nice building, close to the city centre (few minutes walk). Decent breakfast, simple basic room. But price / quality pretty good.
Love the garden around it. Weahter was not too great during our stay, but we even more nicer in the spring/summer.

Monastic Comfoirt

Excellent stay - the building is fascinating and spotlessly clean, the staff friendly, the food is fine and generous, and despite its closeness to the city centre, the place is wonderfully quiet. Will definitely stay again next time we're in Ghent.

Enjoy quietly

Enjoyed the simplicity, the clean, spacious room with a beautiful view of the garden. Wonderful shower, good beds. Good breakfast! We enjoyed! It would be even better with a small kettle in the room to make a cup of tea.

We kiezen ervoor om geen waterkokers en koffiemachines in de kamers te plaatsen, daarentegen is er de refter met koffie/thee voor de gasten.

Perfect

This Carmel (still partially active) has been magnificently designed to accommodate travelers. Spacious rooms, perfect bedding, well-appointed shower room. Tower looks new. We have access to the large garden (more of a park).
The atmosphere is monastic, the decor non-existent, no TV in the room. Ideal for visitors interested in spirituality; also perfect for simple tourists (like us). If you like coming back to the hotel blaring bawdy songs, choose another accommodation.
Very close to the center, perfectly quiet, hearty breakfast in a pleasant room.
Obviously it's not free...

Sleeping with the Carmelites

Great hotel. Simple (no TV) but neat room. But with a beautiful view over the courtyard. Everything that is important for a hotel room was included: a good bed and a wonderful shower. Parking in the private parking lot next to the hotel.
Excellent and complete breakfast. Recommended!
