A lovely stay!

This is a beautiful boutique hotel situated in the heart of Ghent which means walking distance to all the major attractions of this city. We had a wonderful, roomy and quiet room in a building behind the hotel. In order to get to it, we walked through a lovely garden that would be gorgeous in the summer months. Although the huge hydrangeas were fading in November, they were still lovely to see. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas with gorgeous trees all over the hotel! Breakfast was included and was a wonderful buffet!
Our advice is to get there early in order to get one of the parking spaces in the underground parking. Also when exiting the parking, the keypad is quite a distance from the door, on the left. We totally missed it at first.

Luxury, comfortable, expensive, enjoy.

Hotel more than met our expectations. The entourage is beautiful, the location perfect and the room luxurious and well soundproofed. However, for the price paid you can be critical and we are. Reception and explanation arrival reception fine and friendly; what you can expect from a 5-star hotel. On departure, however, this is certainly not the case! On the remark that we were sorry that our room was not done on day two we hardly get a response. This also applies if we notice an error in the invoice; breakfast counted twice. We do not find such arrogance and disinterested behavior in such a place. Parking costs 45 euros per 24 hours, which is very expensive. Breakfast at 34 euros p.p. delicious and complete. Products on the buffet are of high quality. Coffee maker is a bit awkward in a closet in the hallway in the room. Very nice balcony, very comfortable bed with blissful pillows. Fine TV with a chromecast. Luxurious bathroom with only (rain) shower.

graag lezen we in de review die u na uw verblijf in Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Reylof heeft gepost dat het hotel ruim aan uw verwachtingen voldeed. We vinden het fijn dat u een paar van onze sterke punten heeft genoteerd : de centrale ligging van het hotel, de luxueuze kamer,de vlotte, correcte check-in en ons uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. De minpunten die u heeft vermeld hebben onze aandacht gekregen. We betreuren uiteraard dat uw check-out een fiasco is geweest. Daarvoor wensen we ons via deze weg oprecht voor te verontschuldigen. Ik kan u wel bevestigen dat dit niet de standaards zijn die we in het hotel hanteren. Dat er ongepast gereageerd is geweest op uw klacht betreffende het niet poetsen van de kamer had inderdaad niet mogen gebeuren. Dit wordt zeker besproken met de betrokkenen. Voor het parkeren biedt het hotel verschillende mogelijkheden aan : er is de hotelparking, met een beperkt aantal plaatsen. Als alternatief vermelden we steeds stadsparking Ramen; op loopafstand gelegen. Aangezien daar "het aanbod" aan parkeerplaatsen veel groter is, zijn de tarieven democratischer.

Lovely weekend experienced in this great hotel! fantastic interior, very friendly atmosphere, delicious dishes in the Lof cafe, a very rich breakfast...in the room a sweet attention for the birthday boy. Next time, which is definitely coming, we will stay longer.....

Fantastic Stay!

We had an excellent stay at the Pillows hotel in Gent this month. It started at check-in, where the deputy manager made us feel so welcome and gave us a lot of great advice about the hotel and Gent. We loved our room. Bed was comfortable and the heat/AC worked well. Housekeeping team was great - room was always clean and nicely refreshed. We also enjoyed the pool a couple of the evenings during our stay.
The hotel had some nice little touches like a sweet treat in the room when we first arrived, and umbrellas to use on rainy days.
Would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you to the team!

Beautiful hotel, we stayed for three nights to visit the Christmas market. We had a Pillows suite which was very spacious with a walk in wardrobe! Very comfortable bed and great walk in shower. Was surprised that the hotel uses single use plastics for bathroom products still. The bar was very quiet and did not have much of a vibe, however we did stay in the week and perhaps it’s more lively at the weekend, however the cocktails were great!
One of the most chilled and enjoyable breakfast experiences we have had at a hotel!
