Nice Hotel - Perfect Price!

We stayed one night at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with good Wifi. We traveled by car so a garage was a must for us, and that was perfect too. The breakfast was pretty complete, we really liked it. Finally the guy at the reception desk was kind and helpful. He even spoke English, so that came in handy to us since we don't speak Portuguese very well.

Terrible attendance

On April 19th, I arrived at the hotel around 8:00 pm and was attended to by the receptionist Jessica. The final destination was Aparecida do Norte, but as we were traveling with a 1-year-old baby, we chose to split the route and chose to stop in Pouso Alegre, at the aforementioned hotel. I disembarked my wife, mother-in-law and my baby, parked the car and went to check-in. Upon arriving at reception, I asked Jessica about the hotel's availability to allow us access to the kitchen, due to the fact that my son is allergic to eggs and milk, we took his food and would need a plate and heat his dinner in the microwave. At that moment, I already noticed the employee's unwillingness to help us, informing us that the kitchen was closed, with no access and that the microwave at reception could be used. But the feedback all the time is rude. I went up to the room to inform my wife with a disposable Styrofoam plate, which according to the employee could be placed in the microwave. I returned to the reception with dinner to warm up, and at that moment, with all the politeness in the world, I asked her about the possibility of providing me with two more pillows, since they didn't put a crib in the room and my son would sleep with me in the double bed, it would be just to place in the corner of the wall. Again, very grudgingly she said they would leave it in our room. Until then, I had only noticed the ill will, but I hadn't said anything to her, nor had she to me. At checkout the next day, when I was attended to by Daniel and Edilene, in a completely different way, I requested that the room be closed and while I waited, I looked at some documents that were on the counter, unpretentiously. It turns out that when I checked, it was information left by the attendant from the previous day for someone who would take over the care the following day, and the attendant Jessica from the previous day left the following message regarding my family:
“214: there are two new pillows over there. Complicated family”
Upon verifying that it was an internal communication, but in a totally hostile, unprepared and disrespectful manner, I registered the document as shown in the attached photo.
This woman, at the very least, should not have a child, as she is so insensitive to the logistical difficulties that a child already brings naturally, even more so because it is a specific demand, in the case of allergies.
I reiterate, all the requests I made were with the greatest politeness in the world, and nothing out of reality, considering what a hotel should offer guests, as it concerns services.
The employee was disrespectful, unprepared and not available at all. You shouldn't be working with people and services to provide service as bad as ours.
If she didn't have the willingness to collaborate with our difficulty, which is relatively simple, I imagine when a demand arrives that requires much more humanity and empathy in service.
I would like to emphasize that the attendants Daniel and Edilene were impeccable the next day. But I suggest that the hotel review this employee, or at least train her for the service that needs to be performed.

Very clean and efficient

Well, it is just a small business like hotel. Positive aspect: it is clean. It is hard to find anything else to brag about; on the other hand, there is not too much to complain about. All and all, it is adequate for a short stay if you find yourself in the vicinity and need a clean bed and a spotless bathroom.

Just to spend the night

From the first perspective when you enter the hotel it seems nice. Somehow I didn’t like the room. It was kind of worn out. The shower is not great and it was difficult to take a shower. In the morning I couldn’t get hot water out of the shower. If you just want to sleep it is ok. Breakfast is pretty good!
