I just wrapped up my stay at Big Feet Hostel in Kunming, and it was an absolute delight!
The location is simply unbeatable. Nestled right in the heart of the city, it's within easy reach of the subway station, and a vibrant array of restaurants and shops are just around the corner. Getting to must - visit places like Cuihu Park was a piece of cake.
The single room I booked was a haven of comfort. It was spotlessly clean, and the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The private bathroom was a huge plus. It was not only clean but also well - equipped, with hot water available at all times, which was perfect for a relaxing shower after a long day of exploration. The bed was super comfortable, ensuring I got a great night's sleep every night.
The common areas of the hostel are equally charming. There's a beautiful courtyard where I spent many pleasant hours chatting with fellow travelers from across the globe. The staff members were incredibly warm - hearted and always ready to offer valuable suggestions on local hidden gems.
All in all, this stay was a wonderful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Big Feet Hostel to anyone seeking a budget - friendly yet comfortable accommodation option in Kunming. It definitely added an extra special touch to my trip!

This provides a place for society to cultivate young people's social awareness, self-discipline, cultural awareness, diversity awareness, and environmental awareness. To understand and care about nature, to explore and appreciate the cultural values of cities and villages around the world, and to promote mutual understanding among young people around the world through hostel activities that do not discriminate based on race, nationality, skin color, religion, gender, class, or political views, thereby promoting world peace. Since its opening in 2005, Cloudland YHA has received many backpackers and backpackers from all over the world. As for now, I think this is one of the best hostels that I have stayed in China. Everything is good but I wish there was a separate toilet for males and females. Overall I feel safe here because the CCTV is everywhere in the hostel.

Everything was fantastic! Room was stylish and clean, stuff very friendly and no problem with English. On the first floor were a free table tennis and snooker, and pretty nice cafe. Great location, close to downtown. Fully recommend, one of the best staying in Kunming.
