Good, inexpensive hotel
Our room was very spacious and clean. A package for 4 nights was great value for money!
A very good buffet was offered for breakfast. Various types of bread and rolls, sausage, cheese, quark, yogurt, dried and fresh fruit, cereal, boiled eggs, various juices. Scrambled or fried eggs were freshly prepared on request. In addition to vending machine coffee and various types of tea, self-service filter coffee was also offered in a pot at the table.
The evening meal in the hotel's own restaurant was very good. We had an arrangement with dinner. A 4-course menu was served. (Half board is recommended) The portions were tasty and generous. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.
A sauna house belonging to the hotel is great, relatively new with 4 saunas and 2 relaxation areas.
Everything is clean and well maintained. In the summer there is a small outdoor swimming pond. If you like it, you can also use it in the cold season!!! ;-)
There is a pool in the main building, which is large enough (approx. 6m x 11m).
There are a few parking spaces in the hotel area and an unpaved, free, public parking lot approx. 50m from the main building.
We were very happy with the hotel!

Inappropriate experience
The fact that our booked superior room is located in an annex building we did not find tragic. However, the fact that in the bathroom, at 3.5 stars, there is a freestanding soap dispenser from a drugstore etc., does not correspond in any way to the room award let alone hotel classification.
Guests also took part in the breakfast buffet, dressed in a swim short and slippers (flipflop). They have not yet been asked to dress appropriately. It just doesn't correspond to the blackboard Hotel Storck *** Superior Hotel (so almost 4)
that guests can let themselves go like this without telling them in the interest of the other guests.
There is no such thing in other comparable hotels.

Nice hotel in cozy city
Located in the middle of town. Good associated restaurant. Probably the most juicy wienerschnitzel I've experienced
We stayed 2 adults and a child of 7 months in a superior room. Everything super good.
We had room 21. Facing the street and the church. Not traffic.
Lovely small town, very well ⁇ ined. Good for a stop through Germany.
Parking at the hotel.

Beautiful internet photos aren't everything
I was a guest at the Hotel Storck from March 31st to April 1st, 2024.
Spontaneously booked a “comfort room” over the internet. Whether it was the comfort apartment I got remains unclear.
It definitely wasn't the comfort room from the website.
The balcony is wide enough to just fit a lounger. The one that was on the floor probably hadn't been used for a long time. At least that's what she looked like.
Furthermore, a neighbor thought that he would have to loudly work on his car on a public holiday. (It's not possible)
The view of an exhaust chimney from the balcony isn't that great either.
In my opinion, all the photos on the website no longer correspond entirely to reality.
The bathroom in my room was "okay" but what's the use of a shower rod next to the door on the wall? A soap dispenser is embedded in the vanity top, but it hasn't been refilled for a long time. That's what a bottle of run-of-the-mill hand soap is for.
Shower cubicle is too small
The stairwell/carpet is fading. Looks a bit run down.
To the restaurant:
It was ok, but unfortunately not everything was made by myself. (Too bad)
For breakfast:
Nothing special.
A second coffee machine would be an advantage, then guests wouldn't have to wait in line
Looking back, my stay was rather disappointing for a 3 star hotel and based on the internet photos.
Kindly, there was a sticker “Rate us on Google” on the window at the hotel entrance, which I was happy to do.
