Great Location
Stayed for 3 nights for ITB Berlin. Great location to train station to venue.
Hotel staff great, amazing facilities.
Would suggest a map of hotel facilities as some hard to find. Room spotless and has everything you need.

The fitness center is more important than the few hotel rooms.
The hotel clearly focuses on the huge fitness center and hotel guests are secondary.
Hotel guests are therefore virtually ignored by reception.
Access to the hotel rooms is through the spa. The ascent to the reception of
Main entrance is only accessible by stairs - for me for a new building a no go.
The hotel room is modern, but not particularly functional. The light on
Washbasin is not enough. The rest is positive, which promotes deep sleep.
Hotel guests are therefore virtually ignored by reception.

Es tut mir sehr leid, dass Sie wir Ihnen das Gefühl vermittelt haben, dass wir Sie als unseren Gast nicht schätzen, kann Ihnen aber versichern, dass dies nicht unsere Absicht war und ist. An der Rezeption ist zu manchen Zeiten das Volumen während des Tages von ca. 1000 Mitgliedern im Wellbeing Club (dieser wurde bereits 2002 eröffnet) ein Ungleich höheres als Hotelgästen. Jeder wird gleichberechtigt behandelt und in seinen Belangen unterstützt. Das Hotel mit seinen 42 Zimmern wurde tatsächlich erst 7 Jahre nach dem Club im Jahr 2009 eröffnet, so dass Aspria Berlin nun seit über 20 Jahren einen erfolgreichen 12.000qm großen Wellbeing Club betreibt und hiermit auch immer wieder ihre Hotelgäste erfreut. Natürlich haben wir auch einen Aufgang für Menschen - denen Treppenstufensteigen schwerfällt oder schwere Koffer bei sich haben - diesen finden Sie über den Innenhof und ermöglicht einen unbeschwerten Zugang zur Rezeption.
Wir freuen uns, dass Sie zumindest einen erholsamen und guten Schlaf in unseren Betten und Zimmern hatten.
Nichtsdestotrotz nehme ich Ihre Hinweise nochmal zum Anlass erneut Aufmerksamkeit zu schaffen für Ihre Sicht als Gast des Hauses.

Generally speaking the hotel was great but one thing to be aware of is that the hotel is inside the gym and to access the rooms you must swipe your key at the gym turnstile. One entry per swipe and as I was only issued a single room key this meant it was impossible for friends to come over for a drink before heading out, or new friends to come back after a drink… Not that that was the focus of my visit, but had I known it to be the case I would not have booked this hotel. That aside, the room was great and the gym facilities are excellent, just be aware that you are staying inside a gym.

Annoying headaches trying to cancel even with free cancellation
This seemed like a nice place. I booked for an upcoming trip. I paid something like $30 per night extra for free cancellation, as I was still not 100% sure about the exact dates.
Well, turns out I needed to check out a few days earlier. You'd think they could just move the checkout date up, then free up the room for another guest. No, not possible, for...reasons.
Okay, fine, I'll just cancel. Should be easy right, since I paid $30 extra per night. NOPE! They wanted to charge me for the FULL 10 DAY STAY, even though I explicitly chose and paid extra for "Free cancellation". This was also explicitly in the email confirmation. So, I spent they morning on the phone and played phone tag for an entire day just to cancel a reservation that I was assured would be free to cancel.
The management really needs to get their act together. Booking procedures seems like a totally disorganized and dishonest mess.
