Absolute gem

The hotel is just fantastic us absolutely guest oriented.
Breakfast until 11 am, housekeeping as needed and much more.
Swimming pond and well area are sensational.
Great breakfast and great menus at HP.
Our room was great decorated and very large.

A wonderful retreat from everyday stress but also with many excursions nearby.

We spent a week at the castle in a junior suite and enjoyed the time very much. The service is very friendly and accommodating, the restaurant excellent and the atmosphere in the rooms and the magnificent park wonderful and you drive down completely right after arrival and enjoy the stay from the first moment to the fullest. The castle terrace offers a wonderful view of the park in summer, from which you can also keep an eye on the children at all times, while they can take advantage of the many opportunities to play and romp. In summer there is also a natural swimming pool available, which we used on hot days to cool off after a hike or city tour. This is also the ideal place of rest and relaxation after an eventful day, which we have used extensively. We will definitely come back.

Fine atmosphere to feel good

We stayed at the Hotel Schloss Burgellern for the first time and spent three nights here. The service in the hotel and the associated restaurant is very friendly and accommodating. Everything exudes a fine, almost historic atmosphere. The former castle has been wonderfully restored. The only drawback: no elevator. The restaurant offers an excellent selection of food and drinks, the quality is excellent. The service is extremely friendly, we felt very comfortable. The sights of Franconian Switzerland are easily accessible from here. We cannot say anything about the wellness facilities, as we did not use them.

Burgellern Castle is a true jewel in the middle of the picturesque Franconian Switzerland.

Overall, Burgellern Castle is a place of peace and relaxation, where you can unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature.
The spa area is a real insider tip for anyone looking for relaxation.
The individually furnished rooms with antique Italian furniture and modern amenities invite you to linger.
The food in the hotel's own restaurant is outstanding - a symphony of regional ingredients and creative preparation that will delight even the most discerning palates. I can also recommend breakfast.
The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always trying to fulfill every wish.

Classy

If you sleep here, you choose to sleep in a castle. Very classy and elegant hotel that breathes out a grand atmosphere. The building is of course old but my room was comfortable although rather small. The staff was very professional and friendly. I had dinner in the restaurant in the evening and the food didn’t disappoint. The location is very peaceful and very convenient, only a couple of minutes from the motorway.
