IT WAS PERFECT.

Great place to stay in Northern Iceland. All perfect. Rooms, dining room kitchen, bathroom and toilet. All amenities, only 3 minutes from Akureyri. It was the best accommodation in Iceland. Highly recommended, for 8 people, is very comfortable. It has everything.

This cottage was clean and modern, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Also had lovely views as it was up on a hill. Nice big windows, comfortable beds, washer/dryer. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking lodging in Northern Iceland!

These Cottages felt brand new and were contemporary and sleek with an incredible view. Ours slept 8 people so it felt luxurious with just 4. While expensive it felt worth it and was a good base for activities around Akureryi such as Mývatn, Hverir, and Húsavík. Only minor negative is that it’s on the outskirts of town but it only takes 7 minutes to be in the center. Check out the Akureryi Sundlaig it’s great for kids as well as adults if you like warm pools and hot pots.

Gorgeous view overlooking the fjord. Well-appointed kitchen, plenty of space, comfortable beds. Very conveniently located less than 5 minutes from Akureyi. We loved the large windows and peaceful surroundings.

Awesome for a larger group!

We stayed for a week with a group of 14 college students in 3 cottages. The cottages were an amazing base to explore the larger area. Close enough to get everywhere quickly, far enough from town to keep the group together easily. The cottages have a well equipped kitchen including bbq that allowed for cooking for 16 people, good washer and drier, good WiFi, great hot tubs, spectacular views, easy check in and out. We will definitely be back with another group soon!
