The best hotel choice in Tubbercurry
Paul Murphy (the owner) is so helpful and is available to support anything we may require as a business, whether that's accommodation for staff, catering that we may need to arrange events and for going above and beyond, whether that's providing additional services, to delivering pantry items to our facility if they are able.
The staff there are polite, supportive, punctual and friendly. I've only had positive experiences with all of them.
The food is always very good and their food safety is exemplary - taking the utmost care when providing food off site.
Accommodation is very reasonable, especially when considering the cost of everything at the moment. They also provide live music on specific nights, and there is the option to hire a permanent marquee recently built, or a bar area at the back, so plenty of room for a variety of events.
A welcoming, professional and solid choice.

It was like Something from a 7o S Sitcom. Tiny bed , mishmash furniture, manky shower, of which the fixed head was almost at the Ceiling. one bedside lamp and a tiny double bed, All the photos on their website must be from the extension at the back,the breakfast was Ok, staff were quite nice. The So called lights on the stars, well I've seen brighter candles. As it's thee only holel in the entire area then I'll give it a miss next time. They are making an absolute fortune and can no doubt afford to refurbish this hotel anytime they wish.

Plenty to do in Tubercurry including a theatre.
The car park is at the back of property so you have to come in a back door and go all the way through breakfast room and lounge to get to reception.
No heating on in room when we arrived and took a while to heat but was lovely and cosy then.
Double bed ok for one but not so comfortable for two. Pillows were good tho.
