NEVER AGAIN, DIRTY, DODGY AND UNSAFE

I strongly discourage anyone from booking this hostel. The place was dirty - the mattresses were clearly old and dirty and covered in plastic, the lockers were dirty and it was not possibile to lock them. We couldn't lock our room, reception was not attended by anyone during the night, and there were people coming and going in at all times. Our room was near the entrance, so it felt very unsafe. There were only 2 bathrooms for the whole floor, that was 2 bathrooms for about 30+ people approx. I booked for a 4-bed dormitory room but when I arrived my bed was taken by someone else, so the staff had me stay in 8-bed dormitory room. The staff was trying to be helpful but they couldn't speak any good Italian nor English. The place felt borderline legal and I think Booking should inspect it before they keep advertising it. This is the first time I write a bad review for a place I booked, but this experience was truly terrible and I think many people be led to book this place because the reality does not match the way it is advertised.

Very bad

A homeless shelter that believed in it more; old and rickety furniture and cold dormitories with only one skimpy blanket. Mostly North African clientele with a terrible habit of not letting people rest, so much so that I slept for 3 hours in the 2 days I was there. Sleeping in the park is more dignified than this sewer.

Bed Bug and very Dirty, Do not stay here

Do not stay here. The place is dirty with bed bugs. I received over 130 bites from bed bugs after only staying one night, I was so tired I didn't notice how bad it was; the morning light revealed the wall next to my bed was covered in blood and squashed insects. I'd booked a second but was not going to stay there for it. The man on reception took (I think) €14 off me when I checked in, he didn't say why but I assumed it was a deposit for the key. It wasn't and I never saw it again, still don't know what it was for as I paid when I booked including taxes. I have been asking for a full refund or response to the bites but not heard from them since.

It only place with this budget, but if you look for more things, better go out of Milan and use public transport to come( milan city tax was super high 6 euro)

Terrifying and unsafe experience

I vehemently urge you to not stay in this place. I stayed in this hotel with my sister and friend at the weekend, we booked it weeks in advance - we didn’t expect a five star hotel but this was absolutely disgraceful, vile and putrid. I’ve never felt so unsafe somewhere in my life. To start, we couldn’t contact the hostel in any way, their number rings out and there’s no email. After a lengthy and quite honestly threatening experience with the male hostel staff retaining our phones and passports, my sister and I got placed in a room with 12 other beds, no power and no locks. It was all bunk beds, no ladders, one bathroom between all 12 women. I’ve never felt so sad and afraid for myself and the women around me. The sheets were plastic and the blankets most definitely were not clean. The windows were left wide open to a very dangerous neighbourhood in Milan. The doorbell went off at least every 10mins throughout the early morning early with the hostel reception staff letting anyone that buzzed the doorbell in. As a young women I felt extremely afraid, no locks on any door. We left at the crack of dawn because we were all exhausted and completely traumatised from the experience. Also, when our passports were retained, it was only myself and my sisters ID (not the male we were travelling with), along with a lot of other factors, it was made us feel like there was seriously something darker happening in that place. Please do not stay here.
