We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Regina. The location was magical and it was well-worth booking a sea view room to look out at Vesuvius across the beautiful Gulf of Naples. Our room was very comfortable, bed and linens were great. The included breakfast had lots of quality options. I loved all the tasty vegetable dishes, lovely cakes, bacon, fresh squeezed butter orange juice. You could also order omelets, fried eggs, pancakes, or crepes cooked to order. Best of all was watching the bay come alive in the morning from the fourth floor breakfast room.

We did not know we could drive through the “restricted zone” to get to the hotel without a penalty. We had to find out at check-in. They should have let us know. If you purchase a bottle of wine, they do not allow you to drink it on their property. The roof-top restaurant is affordable and has a great view, but the steak is not edible. The fish was very good. The hotel is okay, but next time I’d search for something better.

Excellent view of the sea and Mt Vesuvioua. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel is updated and new looking. It was very comfortable. We enjoyed our room with the balcony. I would stay here again. Very clean. It shined!!

We stayed for two nights in December. The hotel is very nice, very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a balcony with a sea view. Hotel is centrally located, easy to walk to center.

The staff and the breakfast were exceptional.
The room had poor airflow into the courtyard.
They should consider renovations to the bathroom.
