The property is located outside the city if you are looking for nature and a quiet spot. Running and walking from the hotel was fantastic.

I don't like the bath.

The rice is the best. The dishes were good, the taste was good and the staff was good. But the baths are not so good. ① The dressing room is in a steam bath. Even though it was a place to take your clothes off and come and go slowly, there was only one heat fan that made you want to leave as soon as possible. This is not comfortable. ② The bath is too hot to put in slowly. The hot springs outside are lukewarm. It's cold even if it's soaking. ③ It's a shame to have an old creaky three-point unit, even though it's a high class. For reasons ①, ② and ③, it is three stars. After all, I want a nice bath and delicious rice to be together.

This hot spring hotel is located on the top of a mountain. And it takes around an hour of driving up the hill in order to get to the hotel, but the view is completely worth it, the stars at night was so beautiful. The hot spring outdoor was comfy as well. However, the hotel didn’t have elevator, so maybe it’s best that you pack a smaller luggage. The dinner was verrrryyyyyy good and fresh, and the Aomori Apple beer that they had was sooooo goood. The buffet style breakfast offer different kinds of food too from English to Japanese. One thing that we are not a fan of was the blue indoor wear that they offer, as it didn’t look good and look like a massage therapist. Haha

Onsen hotel in the mountain

Located off the mountain road into a forest, it is a hotel with western style building. We arrived a bit late at before 5 o’clock. Check in was smooth. The hotel prepared an English version information sheet for the English speaking guests.
We have a deluxe room facing the forest, and it is kind of a suite, with bedroom and living room area separated. There is a small balcony where when weather is good one can enjoy the good scenery. There are two air conditioners in both sides of the room which provide both heat and cool. Other room amenities are provided such as bottle water and coffee. There is no elevator in the hotel so you may have to carry the big bag up or down the steps.
Onsen is located on the lowest floor. The outdoor onsen is very good, overlooking the forest. But it seems that the onsen is visible form the parking lot. There is a rest area with massage loungers outside the onsen.
The dinner and breakfast are served in two separate restaurants. The dinner we enjoyed gave us a pleasant surprise, the food quality and taste are both very good. Breakfast was buffet style with good quality of food.
