It was fairly comfortable.

The location was very convenient, right in front of Fukui Station.
The building is a little old, but the room (this time it was a twin room, barrier-free type) was renovated and clean.
Since it was on the second floor, when I checked in early (at 3pm), there was a conference room on the same floor, and there was quite a bit of noise.
Also, the bed by the window was cold at night, probably because the outside temperature dropped and the insulation was not good.
There was no humidifier, so when I turned on the air conditioner, the air became very dry.
I think all of this is within the acceptable range, so I think it would be a convenient base for sightseeing in Fukui.

Aged budget hotel close to the rail station

The hotel is aged but staffs are friendly. Room smells a little bit moldy, but luckily the window can be opened. We were assigned a corner room and room size is relatively large, double bed is huge too. Hotel is just located next to the rail station. Overall, its a aged budget hotel, no complain for a short stay.

Great Hotel; Awesome Staff

The Terminal Hotel Fukui is an all-around great stay and was, by and far, one of my favorite stops while I was travelling around Japan. The staff are so nice and helpful, it's incredible. Everyone genuinely seems to care and wants you to have a great stay. The rooms run a little on the small side but are nothing atypical of budget (1 night ~4800 Yen) Japanese hotels. There are laundry facilities on site, as well as a laundromat behind the hotel. There is a restaurant on the first floor, where you can get a Japanese style breakfast (600 Yen) or a "Western" style breakfast (500 Yen); open from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Wifi is available in the rooms and is complimentary. The hotel also provides free luggage storage. Another great thing about the hotel is its location: it is located just a one minute walk (almost entirely under awnings) from the (JR) station and is adjacent to the light rail station, which is sandwiched between the JR station and the hotel, providing easy access to two of Fukui's best day-trip sites - Eihei-ji (永平寺) and Tōjinbō (東尋坊).

ライブ遠征のため宿泊しました。土曜にコスパのよいホテルが空かなかったのですが、今日に7000円程度で空きがでた為予約しました。7000円程度で安かったため大丈夫かと不安に思いましたが、十分でした。建物は他の方もおっしゃっているように、古いです。壁が薄いとの口コミも見ましたが、ホントに薄すぎて、隣の人の声が丸聞こえで内容まで丸聞こえだった為、部屋を変えてもらいました。そこは静かだった為眠れました。エコを重視しているようで、不必要なものは置いていなく良いと思います。部屋は変えて下さったので、サービスは4/5にします。
