It’s a relatively new hotel which is well maintained and 10 mins walk to Southkey mid valley. There is a shuttle bus provided by the hotel on the hour from 8am to 9pm daily. Welcome drink was appreciated and sunset could be seen at the poolside. Room was ready upon check in and didn’t have to wait. Clean & with all the necessary in-room amenities expected. Good for a weekend getaway.

Hotel is pretty new and location is near to mid valley. However it needs some improvement to cater to families with young children. Need shower head for bathroom, difficult to bathe young child with rain shower. Water pressure is low so I had a hard time at the shower. Otherwise all is good. Will probably not come back anytime soon

Opero was super festively decorated for the season with welcome drink given (see pics). Closely located to midvalley south key (5mins walking distance, they also provide a free shuttle bus service on the hour from 12-8pm). Be sure to book early as the bus can only seat ~15 and you’ll be deferred to the next ride if full. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel provided the usual amenities (bedroom slippers/ toothbrush etc). Liked that there was an iron and hair dryer but the dryer was attached in the toilet (not portable)!! However, complaints about the toilet as there's only a rain shower and no shower head. Also, even when at max volume and heat, water was not strong/hot enough and the shower curtain was very clearly rusty!! 😭 (refer pic). The rust doesnt come out with the water on but the dirt from the shower curtain peels off as you are showering which was gross. Further, the toilet seat was dirty with stains.

Room was ok but bedsheet was dirty... rainshower head annoys me cos very hard to shower with rainshower head and no curtain or door to wet area. Water wasn't flowing out well making the shower area a little ponded. Unlikely will go back again. Floor btw toilet and room was slippery

Hotel is clean and tidy. Nice swimming pool and bar.
Location is not the best. Overall amenities can be improved especially when hotel was so reluctant to provide cutleries for the guest rooms.
