Great experience

We went to dinner at the castle restaurant where we stayed. We were super well served by the local staff, super friendly. The dishes were great! We ordered a typical Alentejo region that was with pork. The entrance was flourish, delicious and also traditional from Portugal

First time sleeping in a castle

We had to have this experience, sleeping in a castle and that was our choice, in a very small but very sympathetic city, we really like to feel in another time. Highlight for the great restaurant, service and breakfast

Lovely hotel in a charming village!

What a lovely hotel! beautifully converted from the original castle and spotlessly clean, this was a joy. We stum led upon it by accident and it ended up being a highlight of our trip. The village of Alvito is tiny, quiet, and charming. Highly recommended!

Very good hotel.

We had booked a room for 3 and we ended up in probably the most beautiful room, at the top of the tower. Spacious and the third bed rather comfortable.
Small garden with swimming pool which should be nice in the hot season.
Very competent bartender (he was also the one who took us to our room and served dinner and who was also at breakfast).
Reduced menu for dinner, but it was good, as well as our Vidigueira red wine. Breakfast in the sun with everything you needed.
Very honest prices.
Only downside: one of the elevators is more for service, and with 3 of us in it, we got stuck there.

Rest!

It was the second time I visited this hostel, and I liked it again very much!
I find the perfect place to rest!!
The room is spacious, with nothing to point. I really like the pool. I'm just sorry that there is no longer always fresh aromatized water at the reception... In the first stay there was, and I confess I ⁇ it very much. Alvito is always hot in the summer, and it's nice to have something fresh to drink when you get there.
Breakfast is flawless, with everything you need.
