Fairly standard modern hotel with good views

We stayed two nights in this hotel mainly to visit Seorak national park. We were upgraded to a large room with two bathrooms and a seating area which was very nice. There was a good view out towards the sea. The hotel has a coffee shop in the lobby and there is a convenience store (7/11 type) which is accessible from the lobby or the street.
The hotel is located near the market in the town and there are a plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The bus stop to get the public bus to the national park is a 3 minute walk.
The hotel also has public laundry facilities in the basement. The breakfast was a large spread of items appealing to all nationalities similar to all large hotels in the far East.

Nice stay while you explore Sokcho and Seoraksan National Park.

Nice hotel and enjoyed the water view. Great hotel for my purpose to explore the area for a few days and hike/ visit Seoraksan National Park. Hotel has a very nice buffet as well as a good coffee shop in the lobby. I arrived by bus from Seoul and short cab ride. Also, if your going to the park recommend taking a cab as you can also catch a cab back, very reasonable and faster than the bus. Hotel was very helpful in arranging my taxi rides. Sokcho was part of an arranged trip and I am glad I visited. Plenty to walk around and see as well as great seafood options.

I would like to give high praise to the front desk staff who were very kind and helpful from the time I checked in. They also had expertise in restaurants and cafes around the hotel.

Highly recommended!

Great view, convenient location, nice staff. Short ride from the intercity bus terminal. Very close to the market and main street. Room was spacious with comfortable bed.
Jeon (Julia) was particularly helpful and speaks very good English. Will certainly return again.

this hotel is lovely and a good place to see. The buffet breakfast is good and caters for all nationalities. The room size was good beds were god . It is very popular for weddings and tour groups . The lifts are a little slow but that was ok . staff good and rooms clean
