Dream estate

The truth is that the estate is dreamy. Separate from everything, with amazing views and a heated outdoor pool that is a treat.
The Junior Suite Room is mountain-facing with a super comfortable bed and a bathroom with bathtub and shower. On the other hand breakfast with fresh produce and real coffee is appreciated.
Our stay has been great, to disconnect and the attention of the staff super attentive.
I’d read that it’s extremely difficult to get there (by the Camino) but from the fonts de l’argar it’s not so much.
Congratulations to the team, we will be back for sure!!!

the road to hell

Pension is just inaccessible!!The parking is outnumbered(except for the boss who has a very flat and brand new parking!!!)Access is dangerous and impassable with a slope that makes maneuvers with his vehicle nightmare if you do not want to finish 30 meters below.For a Luxury Pension...shameful!We had booked 5 nights and we left after 2 nights! The bouquet is the cold and haughty attitude of the boss who never wanted to understand!AVOID in view of the Awards!!!

Fantastic!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is in the most beautiful setting with amazing views. The room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. In the morning at breakfast, you see the set dinner menu. Every evening we were blown away by the food, which came out looking beautiful and tasting even better. We went to altea one evening for dinner - we didn’t have a car but it was only about 25 - 30 minutes by taxi, and the hotel were really helpful in organizing the taxi for us.
The staff are all superb - so kind and so helpful. The hotel itself is small so you get to know each staff member and they took such good care of us whilst we were there! Thank you all!
We will definitely be coming back. The perfect sanctuary and relaxing break!

Exquisite hotel retreat

First time ever that I have written a review on the second day of a three night stay, we are here at Finca El Tossal, normally we wait until after we leave.
This boutique hotel retreat is something very very special, having stayed in many five star hotels around the world this hotel rates well!
From the tranquil and peaceful surroundings, amazing views, first class room (we had the Suite Superior Jacuzzi) and so far absolutely first class service, the staff cannot do enough for you and make you feel like you are a visiting friend.
The buffet breakfast choice was first class, the evening meal while being a set menu was excellent and actually a nice twist. They can also prepare lunchtime sandwiches if you so wish.
Top marks to Sonia and the team, we have booked to return already.

Away from the crowds

Finca el Tossal is a beautiful boutique hotel with Moorish Spanish style and a natural simplicity which met all our expectations. The location, views and service surpassed our expectations and nothing was too much trouble. Very cosmopolitan guests, lovely outdoor spaces and the pool and jacuzzi were well used and enjoyed. The food was outstanding. Only minor issue was the rooms were poorly lit with insufficient storage for unpacking, so we lived out of our suitcases. Bathrooms very well designed and well lit, The weather for mid-April was good and allowed us to make the most of the outdoor spaces where we could enjoy the scents of the orange blossom, jasmine and pine whilst listening to the nightingales. Well worth the windy drive up the hillside.
