Amazing Find

In need of a stopover en route to Portugal I found this gem and arrived quite late as I had not intended to stop. I was given a warm welcome and asked if I wanted anything to eat or drink and was shown to my room. Lovely room ( not the one on Trip Advisor), spotlessly clean, mini fridge with water. Amazingly comfortable bed. The owner apologised that the following day was a local holiday and there would be no breakfast or staff around, this was not a problem for me and he showed me everything I needed to know in case of a problem.
Lovely room, very comfortable bed and I slept really well.
I would love to go back and explore the area but cannot recommend this little place highly enough, I loved it.

Hidden and very good

We were looking for a place to eat in the area and were pointed to Enlakruz. The place has been put together by one of Spain’s best known interior decorators, who is native to Lagartera. We went for the daily menu and it was great.

A hidden treasure

It took us a while to find this hotel as it is above a very ordinary looking bar and restaurant. But inside it is weirdly modern and spotlessly clean. The whole town seems to have had an EU grant -- it seems so neat and tidy with d medieval buildings renovated everywhere. An interesting experience.

Estancia perfecta

Fuimos a pasar el finde semana para aprovechar las fiestas. Nos alojamos mi pareja y yo. Decir que todo fue excelente, la decoracion de la habitacion, la limpieza, comodidad y sobretodo el trato personal que hemos recibido.
Sin dudarlo volveremos a alojarnos en futuras visitas!!

Espectacular

Alojamiento rural inmejorable. Calidad de habitación y trato excelente. No hay palabras para definir lo bien que hemos estado y lo bien que nos han tratado. Hemos viajado con niñas y es totalmente recomendable. El entorno muy bonito. No os lo penséis. Volveremos seguro. Muchísimas gracias por todo.
