5 star treatment

The second time I’ve visited the spa here, same great service and experience. The therapists know their stuff. I had Amy, she was great. She listened to what I wanted/needed and applied accordingly. My massage was very relaxing and she really worked at getting all my knots out. I also had a very soothing facial where Elemis products were used. I left glowing! Highly reccomend

I am afraid we have a bad experience in your hotel.
First of all, the rooms are not soundproof, you can hear any conversation, TV, and even people walking from every single side, for the nearby rooms and above.
Literally we could hear the sound of cracking wood every time someone was walking upstairs.
Secondly, the room was not made during our stay. We could see your workers inside some rooms using their phones to speak with someone, texting, and it looks like they were using social media as they were like scrolling down. Sheets, towels all over the corridors during the day.
In addition, we could clearly see at the Spa mould at the walls of the pool, like sand on the floor of the jacuzzi and we have some concerns the pH of the water was not within the healthy parameters as the water has a yellow color.
You called yourselves a luxury coastal hotel, but you are really behind of it. I hope you really listen your customer's feedback to take some actions to improve.

Total disappointment – not worth the money!

Total disappointment – not worth the money!
We booked this hotel for a relaxing spa experience, but it turned into a complete nightmare.
• The jacuzzi in the room was broken and unusable.
• The pool water was freezing cold, making it impossible to enjoy.
• The windows wouldn’t close properly, and cold air was constantly coming in.
• The air conditioning didn’t work, so the room was freezing day and night.
• We reported all these issues, but no one cared or took any action to fix them.
We came here to relax, but instead we were stressed and uncomfortable the whole time. This kind of poor service and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. Definitely not recommended.

Great Spa and Treatment with Amy

I used the Spa with my Mum on Monday, Amy was my therapist and she was so good. Wonderful massage, she spent time talking to me. Amy is a credit to the Spa, I will return. Mum had a massage followed by a facial and loved it. Relaxed afterwards with a herbal tea. We did use the Pool, it was a little cold for me, I think i'd be happy to just go for the treatment

Room 103

We have just stayed at the Queens Hotel to attend a Masonic Ladies Weekend. The food was very good.
My complaint is we were allocated Room 103 which was a disgrace and I cannot honestly believe it was an acceptable room for a 4 star hotel.
It was supposed to be a double room but was completely unsuitable for 2 people other than the double bed.
There was nowhere to put our clothes other than a metal shelf attached to the wall with hooks which I could hardly reach. We had one chair and a small kitchen type table and one small bedside unit. The small sash window was opaque at the bottom. It was the tiniest room I have ever had to stay in. We asked to be reallocated but were told there was no room available. We were woken up at 2am by horrific banging and again at 3am and I was prepared to get dressed and leave the hotel. Upon hearing on the Saturday that we were preparing to forgo the Saturday night gala dinner, a member of the Lodge events team managed to secure us another room.
