Good but nothin to write home about.
The room was in the old part of the hotel and whilst it was clean it was badly lit and the weirdest bathroom that was plonked at one end made of glass walls. The bath with overhead shower was pretty dangerous to navigate getting in and out of. The bed is comfortable with lovely crisp white sheets.
Dinner was good but breakfast was a let down, the hot items lacked any heat which was brought to the attention of the waiter.
Overall it is a holiday inn and satisfies the purpose.

Not a very Merry Christmas
The musty smells, cold rooms, and unfinished repairs can be overlooked, but I did not expect my Christmas family visit memories to mainly consist of listening to a female voice loudly thanking her viewers for tips, and contractors parties.
The Christmas card from housekeeping and the cute handwritten note wishing us a Merry Christmas was sweet, but overshadowed
