Wires sticking out of the smoke detectors.. it didn’t seem like they were hooked up. Door looked like it had been kicked in at some point. just generally did not feel safe.

Had to switch rooms due to sink not working and lack of cleanliness. Second room had several bugs. Free breakfast was a couple cereal options, toast, and occasionally a few hard boiled eggs. Would not stay here again.

Stay was just AWFUL!!! Don’t stay here. Door lock was broken, hair in the shower, AC falling off the wall, smelled, stains on the floor and bed. Building I was in didn’t have an ice machine or laundry room, had to go to the other side of the property to get ice. Complimentary breakfast was a joke, very limited selection and bagels were frozen. I thought I had the worst room but it seems like all the rooms are in this poor poor condition. With the brief time I was in the office area, I witnessed half a dozen families complaining about their rooms and they were in worse condition. Staff was rude and not helpful. I ended up leaving, eating the cost I had paid to stay there and staying at a different hotel.

PLEASE STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

Beware of staying here, especially on weekends. I didn’t expect much given the low price, but the level of understaffing is unbelievable. We arrived to check in around 11pm, which is typical since parks close around that time. When we entered, the lobby had a line that wrapped around the entire lobby and down the hallway. While three staff members were initially checking in guests, two of them abruptly packed up and left, leaving just one person to handle everything. This led to a 3 HOUR wait to check in, with us not getting into our room until 3am. This caused us to lose a lot of sleep, making our next day at the parks miserable.
To make matters worse, although I had made a reservation two weeks in advance on their website, they couldn’t find it. After some time, they eventually located it in an “external system,” but even though I had paid for a King Suite, I ended up with two double beds. Others in line had it worse—they had no reservation in the system at all, despite being guaranteed a room and paying for it in advance. They were told at 3am that they’d need to find somewhere else to stay after waiting for hours. The front desk lady said that even if you book directly through the website, it's a gamble as they use third parties, and the only way to guarantee the booking coming through would be to do it in person. Of course, when I brought this up to management later they told me I was a liar.
I asked why this happened, and the staff member blamed a “miscommunication” between the two employees who left. She also mentioned it was “busy season” in Orlando and it had been like this for the past 3 weeks. If that’s the case, they should have better staffing and procedures in place. A 3-hour wait is unacceptable, no matter how cheap the room is.
Lastly, while this isn’t the hotel’s fault exactly, even though they could have stopped it, but as the night wore on, people started ordering liquor through DoorDash. Groups of women drank straight from the bottles, played loud music, and danced, making it an unpleasant experience for everyone trying to rest. I understand people want to have fun while they wait, but it wasn’t what anyone needed at 1-3am after a long day in line.
When we finally got to the room, the door to the bathroom had been previously kicked in and it smelled absolutely horrible. During my three hour wait in line, at least 10 people came in complaining of cockroaches, unmade beds upon check in, cat urine, broken ACs, etc.
I contacted them about this and they took zero accountability. They made excuse after excuse and tried to pretend like it was a one-off. The front desk lady said it was like this for 3 weeks so I asked them why they hadn't prepared staffing for this because they knew it was a trend. They had no response. The woman that I was in contact with, named Stella, basically told me everything the front desk staff told me was hearsay and that I was a liar. She said she will offer me a little bit of a discount on "future visits" but I told her that all I wanted in return was just the refund on the $26 resort fee. (Not even the full price, just the resort fee.) She declined. I will make sure I leave this review everywhere I can. This place is a nightmare.
