One of the best kept Holiday Inn Express and Suites that I've been to in lots of stays and travels over a long time. Facilities were A1A for hotels costing twice as much. Their water pressure for the shower could be better, but not bad.
Staff enjoyed working there and therefore their attitudes were universally up beat and helpful.
Beds were very comfortable, pillows good and the bath was very well kept. Everything in the room worked and was ultra clean. Best managed and maintained of the Holiday Inns within 60 or more miles north or south of it. Recommend it highly.

Shameful

Been staying here for 10 years every Spring Training. Booked multiple rooms last April for my trip this March using a StateGovt rate, which I’d used in the past. In September, Manager Jacob Lafferty contacted me to tell me I couldn’t use the rate unless I was on official Government business. I explained I’d used it in the past only showing my Law Enforcement ID and that was sufficient. After much back and forth, he said he would get back to me after his revenue meeting but he “should be able to honor at least one reservation “. I never heard from him again. I called back in November but he wouldn’t speak to me . I called and put in a national complaint, but all they did was call the hotel and say they’d get back, which never happened. Then, out of the blue, they CANCELED all of my reservations!!! I again called IHG , but speaking to someone in The Philippines is useless. Half the calls got disconnected, whether intentional or not. My last hope was Mr Lafferty’s assistant Daveyanna Cadet. She apologized profusely, gave me her email , and said she would try to resolve the issue after their next revenue meeting , but that she would keep me in the loop with weekly updates.That was November. I never heard another word from Miss Cadet. It’s now January, and after yet another call to National , they said the complaint was resolved and there was nothing they could do. RESOLVED???!!! Thanks for letting me know!! Now I’ve got plane tickets , baseball tickets , and nowhere to stay! But if I call IHG, they’ll cheerfully say “ Thank You for being a Platinum Elite member for 25 years Mr Waldron!! Not anymore I’m not IHG! If this is the way you treat your valued customers, I’ll take all my business elsewhere. What a second rate organization

It wasn’t bad. The breakfast could use a little help. They were out of several items when we went, which wasn’t at the end of service.

Don't confuse Holiday Inn with Holiday Inn Express In and Suites in same town

Very nice room, excellent breakfast. Did not appreciate not being able to control the A/C thermostat to a lower temperature. Small narrow rooms but looked to be a new property.
Absolutely outstanding for their complimentary breakfast.
A plus was this room had a bathtub whereas a lot of Express have nothing but a shower.

Easy check in. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. So many restaurants and stores are walking distance including a movie theater. Will definitely stay here again if back in the area.
