Large well equipped Room on level 5 had good views, staff helpful. Located on busy shopping street. Fascinating to watch the locals go about their day.

Although room is small, it is ok to stay. Room is neat and tidy. But it is difficult to communicate with staffs.

Rats

We had several incidences of rats inside the hotel rooms (both evidence of rat activity and the actual animal). When confronted with the problem the staff acted as if they suddenly did not understand English and were very difficult to talk to, although they were fully aware of the problem at hand. One man actually thought he could solve the problem by turning on the air fan i my room…

We had a great time at the Van Mieu 2 hotel in Hanoi. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Varied and delicious breakfast and nice rooms.

Good hotel but bit far from the center

The rooms are simple, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I'm currently staying in the cheapest room, it has an ensure bathroom with excellent shower, air con & importantly, an extremely comfortable bed!It's about a 20 minutes walking to the center of Hanoi, but i didn't mind because i had a chance to explore more the city
